TIM MASSAQUOI, LPC

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Tim Massaquoi is an accomplished executive leader with over a decade of experience in counseling, program development, process improvement, public relations, and mental health. A retired NFL player, he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills before transitioning into a career dedicated to supporting individuals and communities through mental health services and advocacy.

Tim holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Eastern University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organization Development and Change from Cabrini University. As a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, he owns and operates a regional private therapy practice, utilizing diverse therapeutic approaches such as Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients achieve personal growth and resilience.

His previous roles include serving as the Clinical Director of Counseling Services at The Ladipo Group, where he managed clinical staff and strategic initiatives, and as Program Director at Youth Emergency Service, a Philadelphia-based homeless youth shelter, where he provided case management and supportive services for at-risk youth.

Beyond his leadership in mental health and community services, Tim is actively involved in youth development and advocacy. He serves on the board of the Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative, supporting sports-based youth development programs, and on the advisory board of Healthy News Works, which promotes youth engagement in journalism and media. Most recently, he was nominated to the NFL Retired Players Mental Health Advisory Board, where he provides guidance on mental health initiatives for former professional athletes.

SAPPHO REYNAN FULTON, MA, MSW, Ph. D(ABD)

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Sappho Reynan Fulton is a globally recognized expert in transformational life coaching, specializing in gender-based violence, trauma recovery, and pre-entry/re-entry services for diverse and marginalized populations. With a deep commitment to social justice and personal empowerment, she works to dismantle systemic barriers and create sustainable pathways for individuals impacted by incarceration, violence, and socio-economic hardship.

Sappho holds master’s degrees in Social Work and Organizational Leadership and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in International Psychology, focusing on the intersection of trauma, resilience, and global human rights. Her extensive background spans social work, community organizing, nonprofit management, and program development, where she has designed and led initiatives that address the root causes of gender-based violence, incarceration, and social exclusion.

Her professional expertise is deeply informed by her  perseverance and unwavering dedication, she has successfully reintegrated into society and has spent nearly two decades advocating for reentry services, restorative justice, and second chances. This lived experience provides her with a unique, empathetic approach to coaching and advocacy, enabling her to bridge gaps between policy, direct service, and the communities she serves.

NAEEMAH JOHNSON, M.A., B.A.

RESILIENCE NAVIGATOR

Naeemah Johnson is the Resilience Navigator for the Kingsessing Heals Community Resilience Center (KHCRC) and a dedicated advocate for community healing and empowerment. A Philadelphia native, Naeemah has shown a deep commitment to supporting disadvantaged populations from an early age. Growing up in an underserved neighborhood and becoming a teen mother, she developed a firsthand understanding of resilience, a quality she continues to embody in her work today.

Despite the challenges she faced, Naeemah graduated high school with honors while raising two children. She then attended Arcadia University, where she excelled academically, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Pan-African Studies . During her time at Arcadia, she received a leadership award, distinguished honors on the Dean’s List, and even wrote her first mock grant. Her passion for education and service led her to pursue a career in teaching, working as a middle school social studies teacher at schools such as Mastery Charter School, KIPP Charter School, and McDaniel Elementary School. While teaching, she continued her education, earning a Master’s of Education from the University of Phoenix.

Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Naeemah has been deeply involved in community service since her teenage years. She organized fundraisers and served on the youth committee at Mediator Lutheran Church, later joining its church council. She is also an active volunteer with the Beloved Care Project, a program her children attend.

Now, Naeemah brings her expertise in history, healing, and resilience to KHCRC, where she is committed to empowering the Kingsessing community through trauma-informed care, advocacy, and transformative support.

ALEXIS NOLAND, M.S., MLS

ENGAGEMENT AND OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Alexis Noland is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit and human services sectors, specializing in behavioral health, regulatory compliance, grant management, and board development. Her career has been dedicated to driving systemic improvements and fostering sustainable change in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties, where her work has positively impacted countless individuals and communities.
 
Ms. Noland earned a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Eastern University and a Master of Legal Studies with a concentration in Healthcare and Human Resources Compliance from Drexel University. These academic credentials, combined with her extensive practical experience, have equipped her with the expertise to navigate complex organizational structures and implement innovative solutions to pressing community challenges.
 
Currently, Ms. Noland serves as the Engagement and Outreach Coordinator for Kingsessing Heals-Resiliency Center, where she plays a pivotal role in rebuilding Southwest Philadelphia in the aftermath of a mass shooting. Her work is centered on trauma-informed care and community empowerment, utilizing a holistic approach to address the immediate and long-term needs of affected families and individuals. In this role , she  will  coordinate programs and partnerships that foster healing, resilience, and unity within the community.
 
In addition to her professional roles, Ms. Noland holds key leadership positions in various civic and community organizations. In these organizations ,she leads initiatives focused on advancing criminal justice reform, enhancing public safety, and addressing inequities within the justice system. Her strategic insights and advocacy have contributed to actionable policies aimed at creating a more equitable society.
 
Ms. Noland also serves as President of one of  Philadelphia’s Recreation Center Advisory Council, where she oversees efforts to combat gun violence through family-centered programming, youth engagement initiatives, and the enhancement of recreational opportunities. Under her leadership, the council has become a driving force in revitalizing the community and promoting holistic well-being for its residents.
 
A dedicated and active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Ms. Noland upholds the principles of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood through her involvement with the Epsilon Omega Zeta Chapter. 
 
Ms. Noland’s career reflects an unwavering dedication to fostering resilience, equity, and meaningful progress. Her passion for community development, coupled with her strategic vision and results-oriented approach, underscores her commitment to building stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities
